In a recent interview Vicente Fox was asked “Do you think the United States is causing Mexico’s crime wave?”
His reply: “Absolutely, yes.”

The destabilization of Mexican society is a direct result of U.S. moral turpitude.

Goldman Sachs
In the settlement announced yesterday between Goldman Sachs and the SEC, Goldman acknowledged that they provided investors with “Incomplete Marketing Information”.
For monstrous fraud whereby this company looted untold billions from foundations, municipalities, pension funds, and individual investors, Goldman Sachs is owning up to “Incomplete Marketing Information”.
No perpetrator of a crime that dwarfs all the armed robberies ever committed will ever face justice – and they will keep the stolen money!

Am I the only guy in this country who’s fed up with what’s happening?
Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder! We’ve got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we’ve got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can’t even clean up after a hurricane, much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, “Stay the course.”

Spin
I love the spin on the newest Supreme Court nominee: A total lack of experience leaves her unencumbered.
But she still has that intrusive educational background to impede her open mindedness! Why not a truck driver, or a wet nurse?
Come to think of it, this observation applies equally well to the Community Organizer who is in the top slot.
Pedro
The elm tree had grown so much that the squirrels, formerly baffled by the baffle, could now fly from the branches to land on the feeder to gorge and sun themselves one by one while the birds, perched in trees all around, squawked impatiently.
Eventually I moved the feeder. The squirrels, showing not the least sign of appreciation for months of plenty, were furious. Pedro, the leader, tried to find a new way. He tried the branches, the bushes, the retaining wall. He even climbed up inside the baffle and bumped it up and down noisily with his head.
Finally he gave up and came onto the patio to face the house and his former benefactors. He raised up on his haunches and screamed a long and angry squirrel scream, then stomped away.
It occurred to me that Pedro most certainly would be an Obama supporter.
Greece
The Greek situation will not improve. In fact I it will get much worse.
It’s human nature that handouts become god given rights. People agnrily refuse to give them up regardless of consequences.
Chaos in Athens; austerity triggers strikes; unrest boils over into riots! The very viability of the Euro is threatened.
This adminstration charges ahead in the pattern of European Socialism. How far behind can we be?
